3.0pH, 25 % Mandelic Acid, 10% Lactic Acid, 2 % Salicylic Acid, 2% L-Ascorbic Acid

This highly active anti-inflammatory professional mandelic acid peel helps remove dull layers of dead skin cells while its AHA’s improve the texture of skin. Mandelic acid also has antibacterial properties to successfully treat active breakouts much like a BHA, yet it is still considered an AHA due to its water-solubility.  It will decongest and unclog pores, help to clear up acne and active breakouts, as well as to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Pure Mandelic 25% Acid Peel, however, is a relatively new AHA that is derived from bitter almonds. Also includes Lactic 10%, Salicylic 2%, L-Ascorbic 2% Acids.

Mandelic acid peels are a great choice for a first-time chemical peel since it treats such a wide variety of skin conditions. Because it is one of the more gentle chemical peels out there, it is safe to use for people with Rosacea or with darker skin tones while still providing very satisfactory results.
